Ask Alumni is a University-wide program that you can join at any time of the year. Once you submit your registration form we verify your details against our database to ensure you are alumni of the University.

When your registration is accepted, log in to edit or complete your profile fields and set your preferences and availability.

As an alum of the University, you have both mentor and mentee access within the platform providing you with the best of both worlds. This allows other Ask Alumni members to be able to view your profile and reach out to request a career conversation with you. You can also use the platform to connect with other alumni from across the world to further your own knowledge and networks.

This program welcomes participants from any academic discipline, any stage of their educational journey and any background, and because of this mentees may be interested in chatting to you for many different reasons. Keep an open mind, try to understand your mentees' motivations and share your experiences in a positive and encouraging way.

We encourage mentees to connect with as many mentors as they can to provide a broad perspective and help them make better informed decisions about their career.

When you receive a meeting request we hope you'll accept it, but you do have the option to decline if you simply don't have time or think they are the wrong fit.

Your name, employment history, areas of expertise and location can be viewed by students and alumni to help them decide who they'd like to connect with. Your contact details will not be shared until you accept a mentee’s request and connect. No one can see your date of birth, with the exception of administrators.
