SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD
Graduate MENTORING PROGRAM
The School of Agriculture and Food (SAF) Graduate Mentoring Program run by the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences, aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of the Australian agriculture sector and food industry through connecting with industry experts. Working with an experienced industry mentor helps students to contextualise their university studies, grow their professional networks and identify career paths of interest to them.
Originally a pilot program created in partnership with the Gardiner Dairy Foundation, it has grown each year and now includes students from all discipline areas in SAF. Over the last six years, students and mentors have built strong relationships, with many maintaining communication beyond the year in which they participated.
